Toothpick

I run Toothpick, a small independent software label that I operate on my own. It’s a creative outlet that lets me design and build things whenever I have free time and an idea worth pursuing. So far, I’ve released two iOS apps (with a third currently in development).

The first was Rank 'Em!, a small app for creating and ordering ranked lists. Drag, reorder, admire, revisit. I had long wanted to use something like this and eventually got tired of waiting, so I built it myself. My latest is Golf Manners, a reference app that has short, practical lessons on the unwritten rules that shape how golf is played. I created it after noticing how often beginners are expected to just know things that no one explains.

I quickly learned that developing software is an immense undertaking, but it’s a challenge I genuinely enjoy. It’s unlike anything else I’ve taken on, and there’s always something new to figure out. When time allows, I’ll keep chipping away at the dozens of ideas I’ve jotted down over the years.
