You know, I wasn’t really expecting much (typical Marvel
flair), but was pleasantly surprised with this one. Robert Downey Jr. owns the film and makes for a very likable superhero (which if you think about it, isn’t that prevalent). The film is just
fun. It’s not perfect - some of acting is off (Gwyneth Paltrow looks out of place at times), and some plot points don’t make sense. Does it matter? Nope. It’s probably the most fun I’ve had at the movies this year. It’s funny, the action is great, and CGI (for those of that care) works very well, and Jon Favreau’s direction is evident throughout. Highly recommend it, folks.

…out there receiving free magazines? For over a year now, I’ve been receiving dozens of magazines - some that I have actually enjoyed (Wired, Outdoor Photography, Variety, ESPN), and others that I avoid (Men’s Vogue, Esquire, O (Oprah), Rachel Ray). Thing is, I ordered none of them. They just appeared one day. And continue to do so. For “free”. What was even more odd is that when I moved, they still arrived - even before a change of address form was ever submitted.
I called customer support for a few them, and apparently, I’ve been given complimentary subscriptions. By whom?
They don’t even know. In many ways, it freaks me out. With identity theft, my info being sold, credit problems, etc., part of me lives in doubt over whether these magazines really
are free. Anyone else have this happening to them?

Not really sure what to make of the new Justice music video (
Stress). It’s intense. There’s something quite special about it. I guess I just don’t get its full message. In many ways, just like Justice themselves. Regardless, it’s worth a view. It’s
Grand Theft Auto meets
A Clockwork Orange.

The workplace seems strangely out of place today. People look like they were out drinking last night. Like they couldn’t sleep. It was neither. It was Grand Theft Auto IV. I understand them. I really do…
